TVET College NSFAS Funding for the 2026-2027 academic cycle will be open from 16th September 2025 to 15th November 2025. The Technical and Vocational Education and Training, TVET Colleges NSFAS Application is the process of applying for NSFAS funding in 2026 to support access to, and success in education and training for students from poor and working-class families who would otherwise not be able to afford to study.

TVET Colleges NSFAS Application Cycles for 2026

National Certificate Vocation (NC(v)), Semester 1 and Trimester 1 >> Annual – online application and walk-in assistive capture application at the beginning of each year
Trimester 2 and 3 as per DHET calendar >> May and September respectively, also Walk-in assistive capture application
Semester 2 June >> July walk-in, assistive capture application
