Central Johannesburg TVET College Nsfas Application 2027-2028

A Step-by-Step Guide to the Central Johannesburg TVET College NSFAS Application Process:

Central Johannesburg TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2027 academic year, and students who need financial support can apply for NSFAS funding today. The NSFAS 2027 application window is officially open, but do not wait too long; the deadline to submit your application is 15 November 2027. Applying early increases your chances of securing funding and ensures a smooth start to your studies.

NSFAS, or the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, provides financial assistance to South African citizens and permanent residents who meet the income requirements. For most students, the combined household income must not exceed R350,000 per year, while students living with disabilities have a higher threshold of R600,000 per year. This funding helps cover tuition, learning materials, and other essential expenses, allowing students to focus fully on their studies.

Certain students are not eligible to apply, including those who have received 100% funding from non-NSFAS sources, those pursuing a second undergraduate or certificate qualification, students enrolled at private institutions, or those studying qualifications not accredited by DHET or SAQA. The NSFAS bursary covers registration fees, tuition, learning materials, living allowances, personal care allowances, and even transport or accommodation costs. Applying is simple: visit the NSFAS website
